Feature · Nations
Which country is the toughest?
The Nations table ranks countries by what their athletes actually do. Every verified feat lifts your country's score, a new season starts each month, and whoever leads when the month closes keeps a permanent star.
How is a country's score calculated?
- Your score: every verified feat makes you rarer, and that becomes a score from 0 to 100. Every 5 points means twice as rare: 33 is one in a hundred, 50 is one in a thousand, 66 is one in ten thousand.
- Your country's score: the National Score is built from the country's 10 strongest athletes this season.
- Empty places count as zero. A country with only a few athletes scores below what they are worth, so the fastest way up is more athletes, not only rarer ones.
How do seasons work?
A season is one calendar month. Only feats verified during the season count, so every country starts level on the first day. The leader when the month ends keeps a star next to its name for good.
There is also a leaderboard for people
Next to Nations is the people leaderboard: everyone ranked by rarity points, with a friends view for the people you follow. Rarity points, not step counts: one hard feat outranks a thousand easy ones.
Common questions
Is there a fitness leaderboard by country?
Yes. GritCore's Nations table ranks countries by the rarity of feats their athletes verify, with a new season each calendar month.
How can I help my country climb?
Verify feats during the season and bring more athletes in: a country's score counts its top 10 athletes, and unfilled places count as zero.
So how rare are you, actually?
