One person reads every message
GritCore is made by one person. Email reaches me directly, and I read everything.

Reporting something wrong
The app makes claims about numbers, so if a number looks wrong I want to know. Include what you saw, what you expected, and roughly when it happened. A screenshot helps more than anything else.
If the app says one thing and the privacy policy says another, that is a bug, and the bug is on my side. Report it.
Common questions
Why is my rarity percentage different from what I calculated?
Every exploit carries a baseline: an estimate of how many people have ever done it, against the population it is measured in. Those baselines are labelled with a confidence level inside the app, and right now every one of them reads placeholder. They are honest estimates rather than certified figures, and they will tighten as better sources land.
My claim was not counted in the published statistics
Only claims backed by sensor data count toward published statistics. Endorsements make a claim visible and credible to other people, but they deliberately cannot move the underlying numbers. That is what stops the statistics from being gamed.
Health Connect is not offering my activity
GritCore only reads exercise sessions, distance, and elevation gained, and only at the moment you choose Verify from a recorded activity. If an activity is not appearing, check that the app that recorded it has written it to Health Connect, and that GritCore still has permission in your device settings.
The route itself, meaning where you actually went, is never read or stored.
I cannot sign in
Use Forgot your password on the sign-in screen. If you originally signed up with Google, use Continue with Google rather than a password. If neither works, email me.
How do I delete my account?
From the app, or by email. The account deletion page explains both routes and exactly what is removed.
Reporting a security issue
If you have found something that exposes other people's data, please email me before publishing it, and I will fix it as fast as I can.
